Adam Sigel

Writer and producer

Writer and producer based in Los Angeles. Adam began his career writing television in the U.S. that included “Secret Agent Man” (UPN), “Los Luchadores” (Fox), “Afterworld” (Sony/Syfy), and feature film projects and pilots for Alcon Entertainment, Relativity Media & John Woo’s Lion Rock Entertainment among others. He has worked on international projects, including “F*ck Fame” (OvalMedia Gbr), “TrustWHO” (Arte & ZDF), and “Social Media Kills” (National Film Board of Canada). Adam also worked on digital and XR projects for Disney, Skydance Media, Torino Film Lab, Microsoft, and Activision. And he served as story editor for Steven Spielberg on his video game project for Electronic Arts.

He recently served as consulting producer on the Ukrainian series “Routes of Destiny” (1+1) and has continued to work with Ukrainian creators in the Pitch UA program to develop and produce over 30 TV series and films, including “Borscht: The Secret Ingredient” (Netflix), “The Head” (Novy Channel), and “StartUppers” (SweetTV). Currently, Adam is executive producing the TV series “Captain Ukraine,” a superhero action show based on events around the recent Russian invasion.

In addition, Adam has served as a mentor and advisor for content development programs such as Torino Film Lab and Pixel Lab. Recently, he was the mentor, juror, and advisor for Pitch MD, a content incubator program in Moldova. He has been a speaker, consultant, and mentor for organizations such as Nordisk Film and TV, Screen Australia, Creative Europe, SUPSI/Visions du Réel i_doc workshop, Independent Filmmaker Project, Berlinale Talent Campus, Atlantic Film Festival, Power to the Pixel, Canadian Media Fund, Merging+Media, Distrito Cinema of Columbia, Forum Brazil, and MediaMorfosis AR. Adam studied film production at the Tisch School of the Arts at NYU and graduated with high honors from Wesleyan University (film and history). He lives in Los Angeles with his wife and daughter.
